Why are automotive AC O-rings usually green?
The green color is an industry standard used to quickly identify HNBR material. This helps mechanics and manufacturers easily distinguish auto ac o rings from standard black NBR or EPDM o-rings, which would quickly fail if used in an A/C system. Can I use standard O-rings for car A/C systems?
