Six classifications of rubber accelerators

Table of Content [Hide]

In the rubber compound with a small amount of accelerator, can greatly promote the reaction between the rubber and vulcanizing agent (crosslinking agent), where it can accelerate the speed of vulcanization reaction, shorten the vulcanization time, reduce the temperature of the vulcanization reaction, reduce the amount of capacity to increase or improve the physical and mechanical properties of the vulcanized rubber.

Reduce the amount of vulcanizing agent capacity to improve or improve the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber with the agent, known as rubber vulcanization accelerator.

Due to the different types of rubber, the same accelerator for different rubber vulcanization of the promotion of different, should be a reasonable choice of rubber vulcanization system. To this end, the need to design formulations for the classification of accelerators have an accurate

The classification of accelerators should be accurately recognized when designing formulations:

    Classification of accelerators

First, according to the chemical structure classification

1、Thiazole class: representative products M, DM, MZ

2、Subsulfonamide class: on behalf of the product CZ, DZ, NOBS, NS

3、Columnum class: representative products TMTD, TMTM, TETD, TBZTD, DPTT

4、Dithiocarbamates: representative products ZDC, BZ, PZ

    5、Guanidine: representative products DPG, DOTG

6、Thiourea: representative products ETU, DETU, DPTU

    7、Aldehyde amines: representative products H, 808

    8、Flavonates: representative products DIP, ZIX

Second, according to the amount of market consumption or production to categorize

Divided into large varieties and small varieties, consumption or production of large varieties

known as large varieties, and vice versa, less known as small varieties.

1, large varieties of accelerants: thiazole, amine sulfonate class.

2, promoter small varieties: thiram, dithiocarbamates, thioureas, xanthanates.

    Third,classification according to promotion speed

Internationally, it is customary to use the effect of accelerator M on natural rubber as a

standard to compare the vulcanization speed of accelerators.

1、Slow-speed class: thiourea, aldehyde amine, representative products ETU, DETU, H

2、Medium speed grade: guanidine, representative products DPG, DOTG

3、Quasi-speed grade: thiazole, secondary yellow amide M, DM, CZ, DZ, NOBS

4、Ultra-speed grade: thiuram, representative products TMTD, TMTM, TETD

5、Ultra-super-speed grade: dithiocarbamates, xanthates, representative products PZ, ZDC, BZ

Fourth, classification according to acidity and alkalinity

1、Acidic accelerators: thiazole, thiuram, dithiocarbamates, xanthate class

2、Alkaline accelerators: guanidine and aldehyde amines

    3、Neutral accelerators: sulfonamides and thioureas

Fifth, according to the acidity and alkalinity + promote the speed of classification

    1、Acidic quasi speed: M, DM

    2、Alkaline medium speed: DPG

    3、Acidic super-super speed: PZ, ZDC

    4、Neutral quasi-speed:CZ、NOBS、DZ

    Sixth,classification by function

Functionally, accelerators can be divided into main accelerators and secondary accelerators (super-accelerators).

1, the main accelerator: the amount and vulcanization characteristics of the main accelerator.

Including thiazoles (M, DM), sulfonamides (CZ, NS, NOBS, DZ), sulfonimides (TBS).

The main accelerator can usually delay the scorch, with medium to fast vulcanization rate,

    and good modulus.

2、Sub-accelerators:Activated with the main accelerator to speed up the vulcanization rate

and improve the performance of vulcanized rubber. Including guanidine (DPG), thiuram

(TMTD, TMTM), dithiocarbamates (Z), dithiocarbamates (DC, BZ, PZ), dithiocarbamates

    (DC, BZ, PZ).

DC, BZ, PZ), dithiophosphates (ZBPD, ZDTP, TETD). Sub-accelerators usually cause the rubber

to scorch easily and have a super-fast vulcanization speed.

Purpose: To improve the effect of the accelerator as well as for process needs, such as avoiding

scorching, preventing frosting, and improving the flatness of vulcanization.

Rubber accelerator 6 kinds of classification methods, see the destination you know how many?

    1、Categorized by chemical structure

2、Classified according to the amount of market consumption or output

    3、Classified according to promoting speed

    4、Categorized by acidity and alkalinity

5、Categorized by acidity and alkalinity + promotion speed

    6、Classified by function
